Soybean Based

Soybean protein is widely use in animal rations due to its amino acids profile matches the amino acids requirement of many species especially for poultry and swine. It is high in lysine, tryptophan, threonine, isoleucine and valine. It works best with corn to provide high energy high protein diets.

Canola Based

Canola is the world's second large oilseed production after soybean. Canola is of double zero (low glucosinolates < 10umol/g) and low erucic acids <2.0% ) rapeseed varieties’.  Canola meal or canola protein is high in methionine and work complementary with soybean protein /meal in poultry rations to improve performance and save feed cost.  Canola meal is also an excellent protein and energy source for dairy and beef cattle feeds.

Corn Based

Corn is a common grain use in the animal feed rations in many countries especially South East Asia. It is popular due to its high metabolizable energy (ME: 3350kcal/kg) and very palatable to most of animals like swine, poultry, cattle etc. Corn contains pigment known as xanthophyll which is essential for chicken sank color. It also contains essential fatty acids such as linoleic acids which will improve animal health.

Sunflower Based

Sunflower meal provides good quality protein with high fibre content. This oilseed meal does not contribute any anti-nutritional factors to the animals. It is best use in low energy and low protein rations such as sow feeds.

Omega-3 Based

Omega 3 fatty acids are polyunsaturated fatty acids which are essential for human health. Omega 3 fatty acids can be obtained from natural foods such as walnuts, fish oil, krill oil, chia seeds etc and also from omega 3 fortify foods such omega 3 eggs, omega3 milk , omega 3 meat etc. Camelina oil is one of the omega 3 sources for fortified food. The camelina oil has been successfully used in producing omega 3 eggs in Malaysia.
