Genetically modified organism (GMO) has been the
subject of debate over its safety and possible consequences for
human and environmental health. Environmentalists, consumer groups
and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) all over the world have
mounted highly vocal campaigns and demonstrations to keep GMOs out
of the food chain.
Soon Soon Oilmills is one of the main supplier of food
ingredients to food manufacturers who export their products to
Europe and Japan, where the GMO issue is a main concern.
